The Environmental Biogeochemistry Research Group is headed by Professor Peter Jaffé and is part of the Environmental Engineering and Water Resources (EEWR) Program in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Princeton University. Members of our group study the fate and transport of chemicals in aquatic environments, with a focus on the mitigation of human impacts and the remediation of environmental contaminants.  Our group specializes in the integration of laboratory and field experiments with mathematical modeling in order to enhance our predictive understanding of the physical, chemical, and biological processes affecting environmental quality.

For more information on current research projects, see the Research page.  If you’re interesting in working with our group, send Peter an email.
